Mashhad, an attractive city

Mashhad is the second over populated city in Iran and the capital of Khorasan Razavi Province.

It is located in the northeast of the country.

My family and I go to the holy shrine almost ever day.

The city is named after the shrine of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam.

Every year, millions of pilgrims visit the Imam Reza shrine.

Mashhad has been governed by different ethnic groups over the course of its history.

Mashhad is also known as the city of Ferdowsi, an Iranian poet who composed the Shahnameh.

I have recently visited Ferdowsi tomb and took many shots.

There is no traffic and pollution in Mashhad and we always have fresh air in our city.
