My lecture is about Tornado

A tornado is a violently rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud.

Though tornadoes can strike in an instant, there are precautions and preventative measures that can be taken to increase the chances of survival.

A tornado forms from a large thunderstorm. Inside thunderclouds, warm, humid air rises, while cool air falls along with rain or hail. These conditions can cause spinning air currents inside the cloud.

Although the most violent tornadoes can level and blow away almost any house and those within it, extremely violent EF5 tornadoes (those with wind speeds of 200MPH or more) are rare. Most tornadoes are much weaker. You can survive a tornado if you follow safety precautions.

Some tornadoes intensify further and become strong or violent. Strong tornadoes last for twenty minutes or more and may have winds of up to 200 mph, while violent tornadoes can last for more than an hour with winds between 200 and 300 mph! Movement can range from almost stationary to more than 60 mph. A typical tornado travels at around 10–20 miles per hour.

Rope tornadoes are some of the smallest and most common types of tornadoes, getting their name from their rope-like appearance.

We have other types of tornadoes like Cone tornadoes, Wedge tornadoes, Multi-vortex tornadoes and satellite tornadoes.
