My lecture is about illiteracy

In my book, the worst thing in life is illiteracy because it is harmful.

When you are not able to read or write in your language you are illiterate.

I believe some families do not permit their children to go to the school and send them to work.

There should be a firm law against illiteracy and government set a compulsion on schooling.

At this juncture no one should be illiterate because he or she will lag behind.

If we become literate we can understand every thing easily.

Having heard from somewhere that in slum areas people are illiterate and this is heartbreaking.

Other reasons for illiteracy can be lack of books at home and parents with little schooling.

An illiterate individual will have limited ability to obtain and understand essential information or will have lower income.

Meaning of word:

permit : اجازه دادن

compulsion : اجبار

schooling : کسب دانش

At this juncture : در این برهه از زمان

lag behind : عقب ماندن

obtain : کسب کردن
